Counterbalance – December 11, 2010
The boats sat waiting, while we slept.
The boats sat waiting, while we slept.
The moon lit up the night.
Back on land, we absorbed our experiences, and anticipated new ones. Each night we slept, wrapped tight in our dreams, while the winds swept over our camp.
Eventually we returned to the camp...
We were amazed and delighted.
Mother grays brought their calves to play with us
....We touched....
They observed us, as we observed them.
But I digress!! Now that the weather is back to normal here (i.e., it is raining) it's time to go back to the whales. As I said previously, there were whales everywhere in the lagoon around us. They came right up to our boats, spyhopping to get a better view of us...
Finally, snow has turned to rain.
